Mat reminded me it was Go Texan day as I was laying Mia's clothes out for school - so I quickly had to switch out the boring pants/shirt I picked out for her favorite blue jean dress and Dora cow-girl boots. Mia was SO PUMPED she could wear her "cowgirl" outfit to school. Unfortunately, the only thing we didn't have was a true cowgirl hat but Mia took care of that by digging out her fun Easter play hat that Buela bought for her. I'm sure when Mia shows up at school her teachers are going to wonder what in the heck is up with the outfit.

Busy busy days
Wow - a lot has happened since the new year! Two days ago, Mia's first cousin arrived! Olivia Raye joined us weighing in at 6 pounds 2 oz - 19 1/4 inches...she's so precious and tiny. Mia LOVES her! She got to hold her and give her kisses and also asked if she could "pet" her...obviously she's been around too many dogs!
And last weekend, Mia and her buddies went clubbing for the first time. We all went to Baby Loves Disco a fun dance party for little ones at one of Houston's oldest dance clubs Rich's. Mia was a bit overwhelmed at first and in a very grumpy mood until she got some glittery streaks put in her hair and then received a new tutu as a bribe to get out of her funk. As you can see from the pics below - the bribery worked!
